  • MyHost Cloud Platform Updates

    We will be carrying out updates to our cloud platform infrastructure starting on Friday 20th July to Wed 26th July. Updates will be completed outside of business hours. Some services will be affected as reboots are carried out, these will be kept to a minimum.

  • Database Server 217.115.117.183 maintenance

    The database server at 217.115.117.183 is currently offline for updates to mysql. To maintain data consistency we have taken the server off line while the updates are performed.

    The server will be back on line before 6am.

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused, however this is necessary maintenance.

    Update: Database Server 217.115.117.183 is back online.

     

  • Essential Maintenance 08 June 23:00 – 01:00 GMT

    Summary: We will be running some essential updates to our billing platform and during this time our website and client area will be taken offline. Web Hosting, Cloud Servers and Email will not be affected and you will still be able to access your hosting panel https://cp.myhost.ie as normal. These updates just affect the billing area.  Please note also during this time , no new domain or hosting orders can be placed.

    What’s changing: We will be splitting out our billing to a new subdomain https://billing.myhost.ie and upgrading our billing platform

    Maintenance window: 23:00 – 01:00 GMT approximately 2 hours but we are expecting this to complete a lot sooner.

    Services affected: Billing, client area, ordering new services, helpdesk

     

  • Updates to services affected by recent CPU exploit announcement.

    Summary: Last week we were alerted regarding a recent exploit discovered in Intel, AMD and ARM chips that can allow a remote attacker access data held in CPU memory across a range of servers, desktops, mobile phones etc utilizing these CPU’s . Initially we had been waiting for Vendors to release software patches to mitigate the exploit, these are now available and we will be updating hardware nodes starting at 3:00 GMT

    Maintenance Window:  Thursday 11th Jan 03:00-06:00 GMT

    Services Affected:  All Shared Hosting Database Servers.

    Status: Completed

  • Updates to services affected by recent CPU exploit announcement.

    Maintenance Window:  Tuesday 09th Jan 0:00-06:00 GMT

    Services Affected:  All services will be affected by this maintenance window in some manner. We hope to keep disruptions to a minimum and majority of services will not experience any downtime. Some services will however need a reboot which will take 5-10 minutes
